About Me

I’m a qualified independent nurse prescriber, which allows me to safely assess, prescribe and deliver treatments within my scope of practice.

I began my nursing career in trauma and orthopaedic surgery, where I spent three years caring for patients undergoing complex procedures and recovery. I then moved into gynaecology and early pregnancy, where I spent seven years supporting women through a wide range of clinical situations.

I currently work within the NHS as a Senior Urgent Care Practitioner, remotely assessing patients via telephone consultations. In this role, I provide clinical assessment, treatment advice, write prescriptions and appropriate referral or signposting to ensure patients receive the care they need.

I started my journey in aesthetic medicine in April 2021 and have since attended numerous training courses, masterclasses and industry conferences to develop my clinical skills and knowledge continually.

  • Less is more. I believe aesthetic treatments should enhance your natural features rather than change them. My goal is to deliver subtle, balanced results that help you look refreshed and confident while still feeling like yourself.

  • This is so I can understand your goals and create a personalised treatment plan that is safe, effective and tailored to you.

  • To create a welcoming, professional environment where clients feel supported throughout their aesthetic journey and can achieve refreshed, natural results they feel confident about.

Behind the Business

I founded Michelle Plowman Aesthetics in April 2021 to combine my clinical nursing experience with my passion for skin health and aesthetic medicine.

After many years working in the NHS, I developed a strong interest in facial aesthetics and the positive impact subtle treatments can have on confidence. I wanted to create a clinic where clients could feel comfortable, listened to and confident that their treatments are delivered safely by a medical professional.

The aesthetics industry can sometimes focus on dramatic changes and trends, but my approach is different. I focus on natural-looking enhancements that complement your features rather than alter them.

For me, aesthetics is about helping people feel like the best version of themselves. I take pride in offering honest advice, personalised consultations and treatments that are carefully tailored to each individual.
